David Stendal – Founder
As founder of Omega Property Management, David’s vision, entrepreneurial spirit, and good old-fashioned Midwestern grit transformed a small, independent operation into one of Minnesota’s premiere HOA management companies. With over 40 years of experience in association management, David is still active as a public speaker and consultant, providing valuable insights and advice on how to achieve success in today’s rapidly changing industry. His philosophy is simple, yet effective – focus on the long-term goals of the association and always have a plan for the future.
Lance Stendal – President
Building on the vision and core values set by his father, David, Lance Stendal has taken Omega Property Management to the next level with superior leadership, state-of-the-art technology, innovative ideas, and unparalleled commitment to excellence. Lance has been involved in the family business from around age seven, so property management is in his blood. As a licensed real estate broker and Certified Manager of Community Associations, not only does he have a keen understanding of industry dynamics but keeps a finger on the pulse of the latest technology to constantly improve the processes and services omega offers to clients.
Before joining Omega, Lance ran Campus Media Group, a successful college marketing firm he co-founded in 2002. He holds a B.A. in history from the University of Minnesota. When he’s not helping clients, Lance is either training for his next half-marathon or spending time with his family.
Nicole Doeden – Sales and Marketing Manager
Nicole joined the company in 2007 as an Administrative Assistant, then as an Association Manager. Today, Nicole is the head of Sales and Marketing, establishes and manages process and transition for communities under development, and manages an association portfolio. A trusted advisor, Nicole is committed to serving clients through a keen eye for detail, dedication, and commitment.
Brenda Thomas - Director of Operations
Brenda has worked in property management her entire 25-year career. She started as a leasing consultant in the rental industry and worked her way up to being a property manager. After a decade in the rental sector, Brenda sought a change and transitioned to HOA management. She was hired as an association manager to oversee a portfolio of associations, including those for condominiums, townhomes, and single-family homes. Brenda was promoted to Regional Director in 2015 and supervised a team of 13 managers, along with their collective portfolio of 75 associations. She had an impressive 16-year tenure with the management company.
Currently, Brenda holds her real estate license, has earned her Association Manager Specialist (AMS) credential, and is CMCA (Certified Manager of Community Associations) certified.
Scott Gulden - Director of Finance and Accounting
Omega Property Management is pleased to welcome Scott Gulden to our team. Scott is a 30+ year veteran of the accounting industry. Before joining Omega, he worked at Communication Systems, Inc. as a Management Accountant. As our new controller, he will lead the accounting team to ensure high-quality, efficient financial reporting for our clients. In his spare time, Scott enjoys traveling, running, and spending time with family. We are thrilled to have such an experienced and capable professional lead our accounting department.
Mary Jo Fleckenstein – Customer Service Manager
Mary Jo joined the Omega team as a seasoned customer service expert with an extensive background in building effective support center teams. Over the course of her career, she has trained and developed top-notch customer-centric professionals, first with QVC and more recently with Universal Atlantic Systems. Mary Jo brings her experience and dedication to Omega Property Management, taking the customer experience to the next level of support.
