Twin Cities Community Association Manager Earns Top Industry Professional Credential

Omega Property Management’s Jim Rosvold recently joined the elite group of community association managers who have earned the Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM®) credential from Community Associations Institute (CAI). Rosvold is one of more than 2,200 managers worldwide who have earned the highest level of professional recognition in the community association field.

More than 60 million Americans live in an estimated 315,000 association-governed communities.

Prior to joining Omega Property Management in 2012, Rosvold spent 16 years managing his family’s pizzeria and bar, where he was responsible for washing dishes to budgeting and everything in between. Rosvold has 16 years of combined experience as a board member, serving on the boards of two homeowner associations. In addition to serving Omega Property Management clients, he is responsible for the training and development and supervision of the company’s management talent. In addition, Rosvold enjoys sports photography, hockey, reading and spending time “Up North.”

To earn the PCAM credential, managers must have five years of community association management experience and complete more than 100 hours of coursework. In addition, credentialed PCAMs must fulfill continuing education and service requirements, as well as adhere to a code of ethics.

Professional managers provide administrative, operational and managerial counsel to the boards that govern homeowners and condominium associations. Managers typically are responsible for managing budgets and contractors, directing association personnel and overseeing compliance with association covenants and restrictions.
